About Nomni

Nomni is an Australian hospitality technology platform, formed by bringing Liven, Order Up, Zeemart and Abacus together under one brand. It runs point of sale, digital ordering, a branded customer app, payments, procurement and inventory, marketing and loyalty, and reporting on a single stack, so an operator deals with one vendor rather than a stitched-together set of tools. Card processing runs through the operator's own choice of processor via Nomni Pay, so the card rate is negotiated separately and is not set by Nomni. Pricing is quote-only across four plans (Starter, Essential, Pro and Enterprise), with hardware and a per-venue setup fee charged on top.

Nomni was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia.

Common questions about Nomni

The same questions Australian merchants ask before signing up.

  • Nomni quotes From $2,100 iOS / from $1,600 Android per POS. Both are starting prices rather than fixed ones, and a venue needing more than one register pays for each additional set, so ask for an itemised quote covering every till you plan to run.

  • Not at a rate Nomni sets. Nomni Pay is built into the platform, but the venue chooses its own processor from partners such as Adyen, Stripe, Tyro and Westpac, and negotiates the card rate with them directly. That means a Nomni quote is not a complete monthly cost until you add your own processing rate, which is why our estimate shows "+ processing" unless you enter your rate in the calculator.

  • Yes. Nomni publishes a true offline mode with automatic 4G backup, so a venue keeps trading and printing receipts through an internet outage, with transactions reconciling once the connection returns.

  • Nomni is one of the few Australian hospitality systems with AI built into the product rather than bolted on: Nomni Voice takes customer orders and enquiries, and Nomni AI answers questions about your own trading data. There is no Model Context Protocol endpoint, so you cannot connect your own AI assistant to it directly.

  • Multi-venue hospitality operators who would rather run POS, ordering, payments, loyalty and procurement through one vendor than stitch several together. Single small venues comparing on price will find it harder to assess, because nothing is published and the typical term is long.
