Webflow

Webflow Ecommerce plans start at $40/mo (Standard, annual) for the Standard plan on annual billing, with Plus at $103/mo (Plus) and Advanced at $295/mo (Advanced). Pricing is in USD; the AUD equivalent varies with exchange rates.

The Standard plan carries a 2% (Standard), 0% (Plus+) Webflow transaction fee on every sale, charged on top of your payment processor's own rate. The Plus and Advanced plans charge 0%. For a store doing meaningful volume, upgrading to Plus can pay for itself by eliminating that surcharge.

Yes. Webflow is a fully hosted platform with a global CDN included. Hosting, SSL, and infrastructure are all managed by Webflow, so no separate hosting is needed.

Webflow processes payments through Stripe, PayPal, and Apple Pay. It does not have its own native payment processor. The gateway selection is narrower than on dedicated e-commerce platforms, but Stripe covers the most common Australian payment methods.

Webflow has a steeper learning curve than drag-and-drop builders such as Wix or Squarespace. Its visual design environment rewards users with some design sensibility. Merchants who want a visually distinctive, brand-led store and are willing to invest time in the tool will get the most from it.

Yes. The Standard plan supports up to 500 products and the Advanced plan supports up to 15,000 products. This is a meaningful consideration if you plan to grow a large catalogue, as upgrading plans to lift the limit also changes your monthly cost.

Webflow offers superior design control and a powerful CMS that suits content-rich, brand-led stores. Shopify has a far larger app ecosystem, built-in POS, stronger multi-channel selling, and is generally easier to operate day-to-day for merchants focused on sales rather than design. Most high-volume retail stores choose Shopify; design studios and agency clients often prefer Webflow.
